DRAW NEAR TO GOD, MARY WICKANDER
SUNDAYS, 9:00 A.M.

If you are yearning for more intimacy with God, this is the place.  We will take a journey together reflecting on where we are and entreating God to move us where we want to be.  It is a place/time for disciples of Christ to sit at the Master’s feet, to remember who He is and why we want to be committed to Him.  The Word says, “Draw near to God, resist the devil and he will flee”.  This class is for anyone seriously, earnestly, wanting to move out of world thinking and into Kingdom thinking.

WELCOME TO THE BIBLE, PETE SEILHYMER
WEDNESDAYS, 7:00 P.M.

This 12-week study is an introduction to the Bible, the most important connection believers have to the God of the universe.  It is designed for both young and new believers, so the studies will be kept simple.  But don’t be fooled, homework and self-learning is a part of the study! The class will cover such topics as: What is the Bible? What does the Bible say about itself? Many authors, time lapses, purposes. Over time have errors crept in? Is the Bible technically correct? And other topics about the Old and New Testaments. As a result of the class you will be able to explain the existence and purpose of the Bible;  explain how the Bible was written and how we came up with the final content; and defend why we can rely on the Bible and know it is accurate.

THE LIFE WORTH LIVING, DARREN McDANIEL
WEDNESDAYS, 7:00 P.M.

This discussion oriented class will cover eight topics over the twelve weeks. These include God’s Assurance, God’s Forgiveness, God’s Power, Fellowship, The Word, Prayer, Witnessing and Spiritual Multiplication. This is the ideal class for individuals wanting to be disciplined in the fundamentals of walking with Jesus Christ.

Buckeye First Assembly will join with churches from all over the city for a crusade April 30, May 1 and 2. Evangelist David Ford will conduct the meetings and there are many volunteer positions needing to be filled. Join us at 10:00 a.m. this coming Saturday, January 24th, for an organizational meeting. The meeting will take place here at BFA in the Fellowship Hall.

All covenant partners are invited to stay for the Annual Business Meeting following an abbreviated worship service on January 25th, at 11:00 a.m. It is our honor to do the business of the church with professionalism and courtesy in a spirit of unity and love.

Thanks to all of the church family and hundreds of members of the community who made the Christmas Tree sales a great success. Over $3,000.00 was raised towards the expenses of placing a clean, drinking water-will in Western India this coming summer. Please be praying for Robert Brees, Elijah Wickander, Nicholas Howard and Keith Howard, as they move toward this missions trip. If you would like to donate to this cause, you may do so here.
