New EQUIP Classes BeginJoin us each Wednesday nightA new quarter of EQUIP classes began on Wednesday, September 3rd. We meet eachWednesday at 7:00 p.m. There are light refreshments, a couple of praise songs, then we break into class sessions that are light on lecture and heavy on interaction. This is a great time to join. We're offering two brand new adult electives. Both classes were filled to the max in week 1.

Dale Workman is facilitating Immediate Obedience, a wonderful study based upon the book by Rod Loy. He wondered what his life would be like if he spent one entire year obeying the Lord immediately, as soon as he was convinced the Lord was speaking to him. It changed his life, and it will change yours too.
Guy Shanks is facilitating the class Walking the 12 Steps with Jesus, an amazing teaching based upon the time-honored methods that help bring victory. However, unlike AA and NA, this is entirely Christ-centered. Gain deliverance from addictive behaviors, disturbing habits and impulsive reactions. Examples could be too much TV, or deep-seated anger. It may relate to overeating or a pattern of gossip. It could be impulsive shopping. It is as individualized as each person. This is a popular class and it would be wonderful for you to be part of it next Wednesday night. |

The Human RightBFA promotes the greatest human right The Human Right. The human right is to know Jesus. Every person has the right to experience a clear and adequate gospel presentation of Jesus. Silence is the enemy of truth. Quality of life is based upon every individual's freedoms and rights. We stand up for every person to have the same basic advantages. Everyone has physical and spiritual needs: clean drinking water, nourishing food, a safe place to sleep, freedom from physical and emotional abuse, freedom from sex trafficking and slavery. The greatest human right is the right to salvation. "Some people accepted him and put their faith in him. So he gave them the right to be the children of God" (John 1:12).
Pastor Keith will share four messages on Sunday mornings in September that turn our attention to The Human Right. This series helps us FIND PURPOSE IN CHRIST AND SHARE.
Sundays: September 7, 14, 21 and 28 @ 10:00 a.m.

This Sunday, you can purchase your The Human Right T-Shirt and pledge to wear it for 30 straight days to raise awareness. Join many of your brothers and sisters at BFA who are sporting the T all month long. (Yes, you're allowed to wash it, LOL.) The cost is $10.00. We'll have extras on hand in the lobby.
The greatest injustice in the world is when people die without a chance to know Jesus
